Recent Work

Most of my recent works are taken from 2018 posts and are predominately taken from travels through Prague, Copenhagen, Stockholm and St. Petersburg at the beginning of the year. I have now completed three years with the website and using this format for structuring my hobby has been a great learning curve. Three previous works are from my trip to Kalgoorlie-Boulder in Western Australia. There is a clear contrast in the subject matter, but the experience behind these subjects are equally interesting even though contextually very different. The rational engineering of the Hainault headframe and the empty landscape of Lake Ballard seem incongruous with the architecture of Northern Europe, yet they are just as evocative. Currently I am working on series of watercolour vignettes of King’s park in Perth, Western Australia.
